  • One of the fastest-growing mortgage originators in the country, focused on helping American seniors find security in retirement in a Reverse Mortgage, is looking to hire multiple licensed mortgage loan officers.

    A Reverse Mortgage helps retirees balance monthly expenses and is less affected by the ebbs and flows of the Real Estate industry than traditional mortgages.

    This is an ideal opportunity for someone who recently earned their license or an experienced Loan Officer seeking a well-rounded career. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will work on pre-screened leads developed by the company; no cold-calling or lead generation is required.

    Your job is to provide a consultation to help borrowers meet their retirement goals and present reverse mortgage opportunities over the phone. You will educate the customer on the product and the process and follow up with the customer throughout the process.

    This is an in-office position at the corporate headquarters in Annapolis, Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am - 6:30 pm. Friday 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. Once every nine weeks, a Saturday from 9 am to noon is required.

    Responsibilities (include but are not limited to the following)

    • Manage incoming leads by phone, email, text, and CRM.

    • Interview applicants to analyze financial and credit data, determine objectives, and advise customers on products, pricing, and processes.

    • Collect and analyze client’s financial information

    • Gather all required information and follow the loan from application to closing, ensuring continued communication with the customer throughout the process

    • Evaluate creditworthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within specified limits

    • Communicate with clients either to request or to provide information

    • Determine the estimated value of the customer's home using all resources available (Zillow, other resources that may be available)

    • Maintain and update account records

    • Operate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines

    • Keep informed of trends and developments in the reverse mortgage industry, as well as changing rules and regulations of reverse mortgage products

    Qualifications (Knowledge & Experience)

    • Experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or in a similar role

    • Active NMLS License

    • Knowledge of federal, state, and local levels of loan processing laws and regulations and ability to communicate these laws in a non-technical and conversational manner to others

    • Experience with fair housing regulations

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong detail orientation, and highly organized.

    • Familiarity with computers and banking applications/software preferred but not required

    • Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness

    • Demonstrated patience and professionalism when interacting with customers

    • Proficiency with data entry, PDF software programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel required

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Create client-facing spreadsheets and presentations to track budgets, selections, and progress for multiple simultaneous projects.

    • Input and update finish selection details in our client relations management system

    • Interpret contracts, construction plans, and client requests to research selection options independently

    • Schedule and manage client interactions and meetings

    • Purchase selected items with high accuracy, including tracking shipments through delivery to the job site. Record purchases using an internal accounting system.

    • Create and maintain project start and end checklists

    • Document project details for hand-off to the construction crew and homeowners

    • Support the development of Change Orders, Extra Work Requests, and budget adjustments for clients

    • Coordinate communication in multiple stages of construction internally with Sales, Preconstruction, Production, and Office Staff

    • Contact vendors and partners to obtain quotes for finished selections

    • Pickup tile, carpet, and granite samples from local vendors and deliver to office or job site as needed

    • Assist with document and records organization on the company drive

    • Assist Project Managers with vendor and subcontractor coordination

    • Track budgets for preconstruction and construction items

    • Manage sample library inventory to verify current and discontinued items & check-out and return dates.

    Position Requirements

    • Project support experience in Residential Construction or Remodeling is highly preferred

    The Senior Project Manager plays a vital role in supporting the administrative aspects of projects while regularly meeting with clients on the job sites. They oversee the overall job, including a dedicated superintendent/junior project manager. They also collaborate with the assistant project managers, estimators, and the preconstruction team to ensure projects meet the budget and schedule, capture all Change Orders and extra work requests, and exceed customer expectations.

    This Senior Project Manager will oversee 3-5 projects within a 5 -10 mile radius of the Annapolis, MD, office location. Experience managing high-end custom home remodeling projects and living within a reasonable driving distance of the Annapolis office is required.

    Position Responsibilities
